A. Neely, NF/ Observatory, in Silver City, NM, reports early
observation of the Supernova in M81.  In survey CCD images, taken
without a filter, the following rough magnitudes were observed:
      UD March 28.30  mag 13.8
      UD March 29.15  mag 11.5
      UD March 31.05  mag 9.9
Further data analysis will be done as color data becomes available
for the comparison stars.  Filtered observations were begun on UD
3/31. The 3/29 and 3/31 frames suffer from some central saturation
from the rapid rise of the SN.
