The Astro colalition and most of our teacher-astronomer teams met at the National Radio Astronomy Center in Socorro, NM, for additional training and a tour of the VLA (Very Large Array).

John Spargo was our tour guide.  We heard that he got to appear in a short segment of the recent movie, CONTACT (with Jodi Foster), which was filmed on-location.
