Amber is already a senior at University of Oregon and
Ty and Kaelin
will be joining her at U of O this fall as Freshman
very bittersweet
Ty and Bill got to take a horsepack trip up in the mountains
in our backyard.
We started at Ft. Bayard Game Refuge and went over three
drainages
(bear tracks at each spring) and eleven miles before
camping at Alie Springs
Very pastoral spot about 7700'
Santo had plenty to eat too.
Lunch at 9000' on Black's Peak
The wild flowers were great
Looking back toward Arenas Valley from Twin Sister's Peak
We stayed at a sping below the twin peaks and walked home the next
morning
4 miles to home
Cindy got to spend some down-time with the girls too
Amazing floater
Amber is now in Quito, Equador (school program) and Kaelin is still
here.
With U of O's quarter system, classes have yet to start.
Liz (who stayed with us this summer) already at NM State
